That's interesting. 'kaveri_sdma1.bin' is found in the
'sys-firmware/amdgpu-ucode' package. See below.
% pwd
radeon_ucode/kaveri
% ls -1 *sdma*
kaveri_sdma.bin
kaveri_sdma1.bin

Perhaps the path to the binary blobs specified in your kernel config file
is wrong? You want to double check that.
