As I said in my reply to your other post, make sure you have USB Modem support in the kernel compiled as a module, and pay attention to dmesg when you plug your phone in -- it'll give you the right device path... just slap that into the configuration for moto4lin, and it should work... (I suspect I also had to change the permissions/ownership of the /dev entry for the USB Modem driver, but that was pretty straight-forward: since I'm working on a single-user system, I did the horribly insecure thing and just chmod 777'd the dev entry... ;) -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
