I'm guessing that you're after speed more than anything else since you're talking about RAID 0.
As such, I'd suggest avoiding a journaling file system as that's probably unnecessary overhead.
I'd consider ext2 for something like a news spool where performance is more important and the data is somewhat ephemeral. Likewise for a caching proxy spool.
