[gentoo-user] Problems upgrading gcc

Hi, i have an gentoo with gcc 3.4.4, and I´ve executed the tcupdate script to upgrade the gcc(after executed an emerge sync), well, the tcupdate doesnt did nothing, and when i try tu run an emerge gcc, the las version of gcc appears as 3.4.4.
