Do you mean that without doing any more than putting RTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" in /etc/make.conf that esearch knew to search /usr/local/portage? I don't see that here. I have one item in my overlay: net-fs/samba/samba-3.0.23c.ebuild After running eupdatedb, esearch knows nothing about that ebuild. esearch samba Only shows what is at /usr/portage/net-fs/samba. -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
