# xorg-x11 INPUT_DEVICES="keyboard mouse" #VIDEO_CARDS="nv vga v4l" VIDEO_CARDS="nvidia vga v41 vesa fbdev" I have a GeForce 6800 GT running flawlessly with 3D since one or two weeks, apart from becoming quite hot. (Its a Gainward card with high performance so I think thats normal). Set the flags and do a emerge --newuse -u -D world and if that doesn't help we can go through X.org config and kernel config.
