It's not a specific plugin, in fact thinking about it I not sure exactly how it works :-) But I got it working so it can't be that difficult. Check out the gentoo wiki. That's the first place I usually go to get info on these sorts of things. You need mplayer obviously and it needs to be compiled with win32codecs.
