Hmmm... I installed both, and kind of like it. I like that it saves the original format, while the file output of xine saves a decoded file. Saves space :). Of course, it doesn't exactly integrate with KDE, and 3 windows (audacious, streamtuner, and an xterm for streamripper) are a tad irritating, but hey, that's what virtual desktops are there for. So being able to use streamripper from within Amarok would therefor be the best solution. Maybe later versions of Amarok will support it. A google search shows that it's been suggested for Summer of Code (though it was one of many suggestions). -- Marc Joliet
