sun-jdk is now installed.
I'm now having problems with gcc, as it fails with an error. I'm guessing
that having an out-of date gcc is probably driving a few more packages to
failure.

At the moment, I'm trying to do an emerge -NDuav world, as I haven't done this
for a while.

I have a dual-core Athlon 3800 processor, hence the makeopts="-j3" flag.
