#5000: failing to retrieve country polygon for germany

using the following URL:
http://nominatim.openstreetmap.org/search/?format=xml&country=Germany&polygon=1
I receive Internal Error 500. Other contries (Holland, Norway, Kamerun,
Russia) work fine, but a few countries (Germany and China atleast) seem to
trigger someting bad when generating the result XML...
I'm rather certain that this has worked before...
