I have asked [1] QGIS folks about their experiences with SVN -> Git. The big question is: are we going to migrate to Git or mirror SVN in Git? According to what I have been told by Tim, the former is a good idea, the latter is not. Also, Alex (wildintellect) mentioned [1] OSGeo may introduce Git support in near future. ...handing over to decision makers.
