Thanks for the links. I was thinking of just having separate sandboxes for each language. Are you suggesting that more i18n content/theme/template changes need to happen other than this?
I'm going to file a JIRA for this move. In order to not break current links, I'd like to have the english version be the default, a la: http://docs.geoserver.org/VERSION/MANUAL/ would be the same as http://docs.geoserver.org/VERSION/en/MANUAL/ And we can create other language sandboxes as necessary, specifically /es/ for now. Does this make sense? I'm winging this, but if anyone has other Best Practices for this sort of thing, please chime in.
