Hi all. I'd like to propose, in order to get folks looking at version specific 
docs (1.7.6 instead of 1.7.x) that we have links on the GeoServer Download 
pages to the actual online docs for that specific version.  I think we should 
keep the links for downloading the docs too, but now that we have online docs, 
we should be better at linking to them.  If nothing else it'll mean fewer 
people heading back to the old Confluence docs.

What do you think?  If no one objects, I'll edit the template.  With the 
exception of betas and RCs, the link should work automatically, just like the 
download artifacts:
