Hi Alessio,
I'm keen to move the geogig geoserver plugin as a geoserver community
module.
I've heard of the inconveniences its inclusion to the default geonode build
brought up, and just for the record want to notice that since I first heard
of it I was shocked that it was included in the official geonode build. My
position, from a technical perspective, was and is that it should have
never been like that.
But yeah, since we're now pushing for a stable geogig release (meaning
appropriate project resourcing in place) lets just do that and try to
alleviate the pain after the fact.
BTW, I take it we'll only create the community module on geoserver's master
branch? "appropriate resourcing" is a relative term :)
