Hi,
looking at one of Alessio's changes made me remember that there is a simple
way to have
multiple property placeholder configurers in the classpath, that is, making
them tolerant
of not found property, and allow the fallback to the other ones:

Alessio already made that change to monitoring in his pull request, but
even just the above
allows me to start with monitoring enabled (without Alessio's patch).
I'm suggesting we go for "belt and suspenders" as I probably got lucky in
some of my tests
(if the non tolerant property configurer is last in the search, nothing bad
happens, but
we do not control the classpath order).
It is also good from a backwards compatibility perspective, as it restores
the previous general
behavior.
