Well, you got past the hard part: setting it up and seeing the examples.

Now that your back-end web service is up, you'll want to build a map 
front-end. I prefer OpenLayers.

Visit www.OpenLayers.org and download OpenLayers -- it's a pure 
JavaScript client-side map framework which does speak WMS.

Then, view the various examples available on OL's website, particularly 
the ones about WMS layers. Copy the Layer definitions, study the use of 
map.addLayer() and the map constructor, and basically learn how to use 
OL. It's a bit to learn, but if you're aiming to create web maps it's 
the tool for the job.
