Looks ok to me.  Next questions

1) Did you specify the url of your xml config file as a connection  
parameter when adding the raster data source ?

2) In your log file, are there some lines containing the String  
"ImageMosaicJDBC".  Perhaps you can zip your log file and send it to  
me directly.
