For the moment just one suggestion: don't post twice, if you're unsure if the message got to the mailing list double check if it's there on one of the mailing list archives. If anybody has time to look into your problem you'll get an answer, insisting won't give people any more spare time than they have now. This mailing list is all run on a volunteer basis, responses get back if people know of an answer, and when they have time to look into the issue. If you need quick, guaranteed response times and solutions there are companies providing support contracts that offer guaranteed max response times, see the "commercial support" link on the GeoServer home page. That said, I'm wondering, are you asking GS to return a transparency aware format? JPEG won't do transparency, only PNG does.
