Hello,
I am a newbie in open source web mapping, I have been using ESRI products
but a new client has requested to have his web mapping application developed
using open source namely Geoserver, Openlayers and GeoExt. The client would
like us to maintain the symbology as it is in the ArcMap mxd. I would
appreciate any help on how to do this or directions on how to go about it.
been reading around and understand that I need to declare the symbology in
SLD for each layer, but this looks a little too much work, any easier way
out?
