Hi Joan I guess the simplest way to know if you are using the cache is to look at where your URL string is pointing
if its http://localhost:8080/geoserver/wms then it is just hitting the standard WMS service If you have pointed your application to http://localhost:8080/geoserver/gwc/service One thing we do is pre seed the cache, this makes it lightning quick Hope that helps Tim ------------------------------ Message: 4 Date: Wed, 9 Nov 2011 02:47:41 -0800 (PST) From: jyby <joanmallo...@gmail.com> Subject: [Geoserver-users] Testing GeoWebCache To: geoserver-users@lists.sourceforge.net Message-ID: <1320835661108-6977549.p...@n2.nabble.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Hi, I was wondering how to test if geowebcache works with my application. When I load the layers some are very fast (point layers) and some are so slow (line layers), so I wanna know if they are loading from the cache (geowebcache) or not, any idea? Thanks in advance.
