Subject: Gutter parameter in geowebcache

Hi all,

I'm playing with the "gutter" parameter of the geowebcache to cope with the
effects of rendering large simbols at the edge of a tile.

GeoServer is also able to automatically figure out by how much to expand the
search area used to locate
features to paint, provided you give it enough information in the SLD.

In your case the large symbols are likely external images that you did not
provide a size for.
If you declare the size in the SLD you should be fine without having to
configure a gutter

Cheers
Andrea
