Btw, for the record, just installed a fresh 2.1.4 on a XP 32 bit desktop, GeoServer running as a service: * I can edit the WMS title without issues, the change is retained and reflected in the capabilities document * can add new layers, they are retained and it's possible to find them in the capabilities and preview them Cheers Andrea -- Ing.
