Hello,
it is a bit difficult to understand the full CURL command you are trying to
send to GeoServer from your email.
What you should do in order to ingest an *external* geotiff (which means
that the GeoTIFF is already present on the server and you are just
providing the full path to GeoServer) is:
- a *POST* to
http://
<server>:<port>/geoserver/rest/workspaces/<ws>/coveragestores/<name>/external.geotiff
- of a *text/plain* Content-type text, containing the following line
file://<full_path_to_the_geotiff_on_server>
Please, try checking your code again and let me know if you still have
issues.
Regards,
Alessio.
