We set up Geoserver on a Appache server and it seems to be working. Added a new Storage with my data, a shapefile. And Added a new layer from that storage. Tried both to create a new workspace and use an existing one (cites) to publish the layer. The layer seems to be published and I can go to "Preview layers" and look at my Layer from the "open layers link". Everything so far so good. BUT when I try to add the Layer in MapInfo (GIS software) as a WMS. Trying to connect with the Geoserver server I get an error message.

Error receiving WMS server functions" Anybody has a clue?
