Hum...
wondering if this is happening because you're in uncharted territory (I
believe
you're the first to attempt using app-schema and solr toghether).
SOLR feature types are like JDBC sql views, they are runtime configured by
GeoServer in that particular instance (Java class) or the SOLR store.
So for app-schema to find the right attributes, it has to fetch the
datastore
from GeoServer itself.
Can app-schema use the Repository interface to grab pre-configured stores
from GeoServer by name? Because if you don't, then you don't end up with
the layers configured by GeoServer.
However, in that case it should fall back to "single mapping", mapping the
whole collection of documents to a single feature type having the same
name as the SOLR core. I'm cc'ing Justin, he should be more familar with
this
approach than me. What attributes does one end up having?
