Hi,

Yes it's possible.

Make sure all the necessary permissions on the remote computer are given to the
account running the tomcat service.

Hope this helps

Objet : [Geoserver-users] GEOSERVER_DATA_DIR

Hello,

I have Geoserver (version 2.20.3) running with Tomcat. I changed the
GEOSERVER_DATA_DIR by default to another folder on another physical disk
(D:GEOSERVER_DATA_DIR). For this I have modified the WEB file.xml

This works fine, but I would like to change this to another folder on another
machine. I changed the path in the file WEB.xml but without results.

Is it possible to specify the geoserver data directory to a remote location?

Thanks in advance
