We are kind of done, we just lack volunteer time to make it happen ;-)
My impression is that
we will release it when either:
a) uDig 1.1 goes out
b) GeoServer community schema work needs to start up
c) Someone (perhaps you) needs it...
We may as well hang out as long as possible and collect bug fixes, the
uDig team seems
pretty happy with it.
