We have been running around 100 unassigned jira issues. I have taken a
run through Jira assigning these task to the module maintainer.
Module maintainers are expected to track the issues for their module and
keep things under control, if anyone is feeling overwhelmed try
this handy technique, mark bugs as wont fix if you are not going to fix
them. Or grab a volunteer from the users list and ask for help.
We should also consider dropping a few modules that are not part of
anyones plans these days. Many of these modules have not seen
activity since 2004.
