Made it as far as MIF (starting from the top) and we are down to 70
unassigned items.
If you module is further down the list try and pick out the unassigned
items and decide what or who to do to them. Failing that I will keep
pluging away
during the week. In may cases these issues are related or dependent on
each other, please feel free to collapse your list down to a manageable
number
by creating links and marking duplicate issues.

We have been running around 100 unassigned jira issues. I have taken a
run through Jira assigning these task to the module maintainer.
Module maintainers are expected to track the issues for their module
and keep things under control, if anyone is feeling overwhelmed try
this handy technique, mark bugs as wont fix if you are not going to
fix them. Or grab a volunteer from the users list and ask for help.
We should also consider dropping a few modules that are not part of
anyones plans these days. Many of these modules have not seen
activity since 2004.
