Hi guys, sorry I did not make it I was out sick... As a PMC I need to go over the meeting notes and respond to any issues brought up and vote and all that stuf... here it goes.
1. GC It seems communication is lacking a bit, and everyone is willing to help :-) I am glad to see this go ahead and will update trunk to keep tabs on things. Questions? - do we have a cruise control (or continum) working against trunk right now - a jira task was mentioned in the meeting (as the avenue for communication) does anyone have the link? 2. maven 2 repo update Looks like lists.refractions.net and maven.geotools.fr are both available and lists.refractions.net can be updated using webdav. There is some talk about rsync between the two although I am not sure why this is needed. Questions: - is the documentation up to date on this stuff? By this I only mean the developers guide: -- http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOT/How+to+add+a+3rd+party+jar -- http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOT/How+to+cut+a+release - why is rsync needed? (performance problem, fun thing to try out?) 3. Jiara Cory mentions that it is a complete mess, actually it is better then this time 6 months ago but like Cory I would ask module maintainers to go through it. Q: Cory can you go through filter and style? A: Really we only ever cleared up Jira near a major release, and 2.2.x is going live when uDig does, can we estimate how long it will take to clean up Jira for 2.2.0? 4. Start on time end on time Agreed, this really helps everyone. Although if the meeting was an hour earlier other in SA besides myself could attend. Using Tomcat but need to do more? Need to support web services, security?
