Aside: I think I am getting a handle on this GenericName crap; as long as you view it as a something to explore it works out okay; if you look at it as something you need to create is when you run into trouble. I am finding the JNDI Context API to be spot on ... it let's me explore things with a normal String (and is focused on searching).
