Morning Stefan, you will see in your inbox that you now have access to svn; I would ask you got make sure you read the developers guide and ask a lot of questions. Someone is usually online on the #geotools IRC channel to answer some questions (but everything should be in the developers guide).
I understand that the weekly IRC meeting time is at 2am for you, we may have to schedule a second meeting once you get up to speed. Finally this is the week before FOSS4G so it will be very hard to answer questions in a timely fashion (everyone is doing some last minuet panic).
