Actually we have tried hard to make javadoc work with Java 5. Adrian has spent 
almost one full day on this problem, trying all sort of pom.xml settings and 
Maven configurations. We failed to get it working, but maybe we missed some 
obvious trick. As of today, the reason why aggregated javadoc doesn't work with 
Java 5 is a total mystery for us.
