Would be very nice. We can use a .apt file to store the 5 stars
report. The wiki is not exactly kept up to date ;-)

Site wise I was waiting to see if OpenGeo had the extra power
to generate the site nightly and we also had issues on how and
where to deploy it (would be nice if it was deployed over to
geotools.org at OSGEO).

Christian also suggested he could generate the site with his
Hudson, but afaik that is still a month away.
