I recall the conversation but not the result ... and I in going over the road map in jira in order to update the wiki page I did not find any information to fill in. > GeoServer is right now in RC and GeoTools, well, it is close to be in > that phase, therefore we foresse this work as touching base after both > thep rojects have forked a new trunk. That is good to know; at the moment GeoTools trunk still feels like it should hang out and work on QA - and I was not aware of any incoming work worth making a new trunk for. So if we set up a 2.7.x page for GeoTools this work can be sloted there? Right now 2.6.x talks about nD support - could I just move that paragraph over to 2.7.x. > Now, this is certainly true for GeoServer, but for GeoTools it might > be disputable since we are talking about a part of the library which > is not exactly core, therefore your input and direction would be much > appreciated. We are moving the emf stuff out of unsupported so can treat it with a bit more respect. The work you are doing is additive in nature so I am not sure it it matters to you if it is in a point release (2.6.1) or a new 2.7.x... So let me ask this - what is your schedule, how does it line up with the release dates on the table. Do we need to modify or adjust release dates to meet your deadlines.
