Hi list,
We would like to move the geotools JP2KAK plugin from unsupported to
supported land: http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOTOOLS/JP2K+Kakadu+Plugin
As you may notice from the wiki page:
- Added the review.apt,
- Improved the test coverage (>60%... We can get higher values, but some
methods are only used when accessing some old jp2 data which we cannot
share)
- Improved javadoc and comments
This would require a new imageio-ext release. (I have built a 1.0.5 version
which basically has an improved version of the kakadu imageio-ext reader.
I'll deploy it soon). When released, we will have a released dependency for
the plugin.
During this movement, we would also like to rename it from JP2KAK to JP2K
(More generic, giving the future capability to let that plugin leverage on
different JP2K implementations, as an instance the SUN's JP2K plugin)
What is needed to move it?
