Hi Simone The ImageMosaicFormat class implements some parameters which are also of interest for the imagemosaicJDBC module.
As an example, the ImageMosicJDBCFormat inherits BACKGROUND_COLOR from AbstractGridFormat but has to copy the definition of OUTPUT_TRANSPARENT_COLOR from ImageMosaicJDBCFormat. The next candidate for copying is TIME. I think It would be better to push up this public static definitions to AbstractGridFormat. Opinions ?
