Nice one, Jody. I was looking at this too, and wondering about Maven 2 
support.

I am still using Maven 2 on one buildbot. Super-easy to upgrade to 3. I 
would be more than happy to get rid of Maven 2 support if it meant a 
better Maven 3 result. But then I am a conformance-over-performance 
advocate, and others might prefer Maven 2 which I think is still a bit 
faster for sequential builds.
