Hi Ben and others,

Thanks for your response.

I already forked wfs-ng (from Gabriel's) but the problem I'm having is that
there are errors in it which prevent it compiling.

I don't really know how much (if any) of wfs-ng I need because I don't actually
know how it differs from trunk - I just put my work there because that's where
I was told it should go. I guess this is what I'm asking - does it need to be
there or can I just move my work to its own branch (i.e. a branch of trunk
instead of wfs-ng)? I have put my new classes in the wfs-ng package but perhaps
they can just move to wfs or, if it's more suitable, an unsupported module?

I'm happy to give it a go if no one has any objections but I wanted to make
sure there wasn't some really important reason for me being in wfs-ng that I
wasn't aware of. I got the feeling that the decision was more of a "might make
sense to put it here" than being on something fundamentally important but I
might be completely wrong about that..? :)

Many thanks,

Adam Brown

work off wfs-ng

Adam,

are you asking for a new unsupported module?
http://docs.geotools.org/latest/developer/procedures/create.html

How much of Gabriel's wfs-ng do you need, or are you proposing to fork it?

Gabriel, what are your plans for your fork of wfs-ng? Do you intend to merge it
back into github geotools/geotools or is it stalled?

It would be good to avoid code duplication if possible.

Kind regards,
Ben.
