Yep, just like Jody said. The annoying part of the upgrade process is not
much upgrading the db itself, but
going after the regression caused by EPSG changing the meaning of
parameters, moving them around, and so on.
It does not happen all that often, but going by memory once every two
upgrades I have to fix one or more things around
to make things work, and there are still at least one bug report open about
regressions caused by upgrades on less used
projections.
Soo... when upgrading one should read though the changelogs and see if any
projection parameter has been changed,
moved, renamed, or whatever... which makes the process annoying.
If we are to upgrade the EPSG database it has to be done in the next 10
days, before the freeze
