Bugger. Several Oracle tests were not ported and FTBFS. Without -Doracle, these tests are not even compiled. gt-jdbc-oracle uses <properties> <maven.test.skip>true</maven.test.skip> </properties> which is worse than skipTests. http://maven.apache.org/surefire/maven-surefire-plugin/examples/skipping-test.html
