Hi Kurt, thanks for letting us know. PR review is not a sponsored activity and normally is taken care of by volunteers during their spare time. Even if the PR looks good by itself, we need to verify that it won't break the build in GeoWebCache and GeoServer, two downstream projects linked to GeoTools by snapshot dependencies.
Unfortunately Travis does not cover us there, it won't run the builds with the changes in the PR for us (if there is an easy way to get that going, I'd be interested to know). Due to the above, PRs that are not related to work activities of the reviewers might take weeks to get attention. Sorry, we don't mean any harm, just playing with very limited resources.
