I have a customer who is actively using it and is paying for bug fixes.
There are also 20 (or so) questions on gis.stackexchange
<https://gis.stackexchange.com/search?q=%5Bgeotools%5D+kml> about geotools
and kml so I guess there are users out there.

Would be nice to get it up to supported but I don't have the time just yet
for that.

It should probably be added into the profile so I don't have to keep
remembering to build it by hand.
