hello, everyone
i have some shapefiles with its siblings .shx, .dbf and .prj, can i use
geotool to add a field to these files?
for example, the shapefile's dbf have three attributes like Population, name
and type, I want to add a customed attribute "weight" to it.
I have check out SHPLIB which is c library, but it can't change the fields
after you create the shapefile. it only can add fields when you create a new
shapefile, but cannot modify an existed one.
anyone knows ? thanks!
