Hi Irfan:
JMapPane can display vector and raster data; I am not sure what the
rastersymbolizer you will need to configure to display raster data looks
like. Have you tried with a simple world+image file? What does a default
raster symbolizer display for you?
It looks like your pom.xml file is okay; you are depending on a demo program
however:
- <dependency>
<groupId>org.geotools.demo</groupId>
<artifactId>gt-mappane-use</artifactId>
<version>2.5-SNAPSHOT</version>
</dependency>
This demo may include mappane module as a dependency? And thus you may
be working - but I am not sure. The demo programs are available for
you to base your application on. Have you tried the demo programs
covered in the user guide? It looks like your sample app is based on
the one for showing a shapefile; you will need to modify it (to
produce a raster symbolizer) in order to display an image.
