I'm using Geotools loading a map from shapefile with about 16,000 features,
and I need to set some of them with different styles. I used the Id filter
to choose about 2,000 features, then I found the rendering time become very
very long. If I did not use filter or choose less features, the situation
was fine.
Who can tell me why, or some suggestion? In my opinion, to filter features
use id should be very efficient, Geotools don't create the id's index for
features?
