Hello Simone, thanks, I indeed ended up with implementing a custom dimension in my image mosaic. This however triggered two other issues, which I also sent to this list, (or the dev list): -The approach works for WMS-EO, but not for WCS 2.0 -The bands are now stacked into an image, but the values are not properly scaled to 256 byte values, resulting in incorrect colors.
For the second issue, I suggested that an extension of WMS-EO might be needed, but now I'm thinking that it would be more elegant if we could use something like an SLD style for this. Unfortunately, that would require a customization of SLD. Do you know of any other extension points which allow me to rescale the values of a coverage before creating a WMS response image? thanks, Jeroen On Thursday 09 January 2014 09:58:29 Simone Giannecchini wrote: > Ciao Jeroen, > I might be beating a dead-horse here but it's worth trying anyway now that > I have time to answer. > > If I understand correctly you are in a situation that might be as an > instance like when you have a netcd file that contains the u and v > components for wind or current which are usually stored into separate > variables which maps to separate coverages in GeoServer. > > The WMS-EO extension won't help you out as it can stack imagery coming from > the same coverage but with different bands.
