Greetings,
I have just started using geotools library and hope this is not an FAQ
entry. I am creating a feature using "simple feature builder" and writing
it to a MS SQL server table which happens to have a column called ID. My
call to buildFeature provides a uuid. However, this value seems to be
ignored and the default feature ID 'fid....' Is passed to the database.
Since the column is of type unique identifier, the insert fails.
My question is, why is the value I provided ignored? Is there any way to
control this behavior?
