In a parody of what you actually want, one of the WorldWind developers has a developed a way for KaMap to read from WW style tile caches :) I dont think he has sumbitted his code for addition to the official code base though.
We also have code in C# and PHP to map WW style tile requests (Level, X, Y) to WMS GetMap URL's with a BBOX and pull/load the cache if available.
