Alex,

I don't know slashgeo very well, but I couldn't find your post. I'd be
interested in discussing TIN formats. I use them quite frequently in my day job
as a land surveyor, but always in commercial software.

I'd like to explore TIN support in open source software in the future and would
also be interested in a "standard" TIN format.

The OGC may have something for this in there GML Coverages spec.

Subject: [Geowanking] TIN formats?

Hi list,

I just started a thread on TIN formats on Slashgeo. Some might want to
add information?

http://industry.slashgeo.org/article.pl?sid=07/01/08/2143218

On the post, I share what I found with a quick search (not that much).
In short, I'm trying to learn if there are standard formats for TINs.

Cheers,

Alex :-)
